Back in 1984, our friends introduced my husband & I to their litter of himalayan kittens.  We just had to have one, and immediately there after, we were hooked.  We then found ourselves saving all our extra funds and traveling the country, going to cat shows, in search of the perfect kittens to start our own little family. We soaked up every bit of information that we could about the Persian and Himalayan breeds, and ended up with the original 5 that started Basskat.
